Credits and billing
Peppost is pay-per-send via prepaid credit packs. This page explains the ledger, refunds, and VAT receipts.
The model
- 1 credit = 1 outbound Peppol send. A credit covers UBL conversion, PDF attachment, validation, and delivery.
- No subscription. You buy a pack when you need to. There is nothing to cancel.
- Credits never expire. Unused credits stay on the account indefinitely.
Credit packs
Three packs are available. The larger the pack, the lower the per-credit price.
- 50 credits — €10 (€0.20 per send)
- 250 credits — €40 (€0.16 per send) — most popular
- 500 credits — €70 (€0.14 per send)
Up-to-date pricing always lives at /pricing.
How a purchase works
- Open Credits in the sidebar.
- Pick a pack. Peppost creates a Stripe Checkout session and redirects you.
- Complete the payment in Stripe. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA are supported where applicable.
- Stripe redirects you back to Peppost. The credits land on your account as soon as the payment confirms — typically within a second or two.
If you close the tab before being redirected back, no harm done: the webhook still fulfils the purchase. Refresh the Credits page and the new balance will be there.
Auto-reload
Buying a pack saves the card you paid with. Auto-reload uses it to buy the next pack on its own once your balance falls below a trigger you choose, so a send is never blocked by an empty balance.
- Switch it on from the Credits page — pick the balance that triggers a reload and the pack to buy.
- Reloads appear in the ledger as ordinary purchases, with the Stripe receipt attached.
- If the saved card is declined, auto-reload pauses for a day and the Credits page says so — buy a pack manually to update the card, and it resumes.
The transaction ledger
Every credit movement is recorded as an entry in the transaction ledger, visible at the bottom of the Credits page:
- Date — when the entry was created.
- Type —
purchase, send, orrefund. - Description — the invoice number for sends, the pack size for purchases.
- Credits — the signed delta (positive for purchases and refunds, negative for sends).
- Paid — for purchases, a clickable link to the Stripe receipt.
- Balance — the running balance after the entry.
Refunds
Credits are refunded automatically in two cases:
- The send was cancelled before reaching the recipient's access point (e.g. the dispatch failed inside our pipeline).
- Validation rejected the document before it was handed to the network.
If the recipient's access point reports an error after the document has been delivered, the credit is not refunded — the network treats that as a successful dispatch with a downstream rejection. If you believe a refund is owed, email support@peppo.st with the Peppost send ID.
VAT receipts
Each credit purchase generates a Stripe receipt with the VAT breakdown. You can:
- Click the Paid column on the relevant ledger row to open the receipt directly.
- Use the receipt URL to download a PDF copy. The receipt includes Peppost's company details (Ingram Technologies SRL), your billing address, and the VAT amount applied.
Reverse charge / VAT-exempt purchases
If your account is registered with a valid intra-EU VAT number, Stripe's automatic tax handles the reverse-charge note on the receipt. If you need a one-off correction (for example a tax certificate change), reach out to support@peppo.st.
